  • 1 lb. chicken, smoked sausage, diced pork, crawfish or shrimp
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 3 c. raw white rice
  • 1/2 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can mushroom steak sauce
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, drained
  • 3 Tbsp. Creole seasoning

    Brown meat and remove excess fat.

    Put everything in large stockpot.

    Cover and cook on medium to low heat.

    Stir contents 3 times in first 15 minutes.

    Cook 35 minutes or until rice is done.
