Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 pkg. smoked sausage, chopped or thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. rice
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
  • seasonings to taste: garlic salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, liquid crab boil

Directions

    Saute onion and pepper.

    Add sausage and rice, stirring constantly.

    Combine Ro-Tel and water to make 3 cups liquid.

    Add this liquid along with soup, gravy mix and seasonings to the sausage and rice mixture.

    Bring to a boil.

    Lower heat.

    Cover and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
