  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. white Karo
  • 5 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cook over medium heat sugar, water, Karo, margarine and peanuts, stirring most

    of the time until temperature reaches hard crack stage (310°).

    Stir constantly from about hard ball stage on.

    need to cook beyond 310°.) Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla.
