  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. coconut
  • 3/4 c. chopped dates
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

    Melt butter, sugar, vanilla and vinegar.

    Let cool.

    Beat eggs. Add other ingredients and mix with other mixture.

    Bake in shell for 45 to 50 minutes at 300°.

    Makes 2 small pies or 1 large.
