- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 large head cabbage, chopped coarsely
- 1/2 lb. fresh, sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 bunches scallions, chopped
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- garlic to taste
- 1 1/2 lb. cooked spaghetti
Directions

1In a heavy casserole or pot, cook bacon until crisp.

2Remove bacon from pot and drain on paper towels.

3Reserve bacon drippings in pot.

4Add cabbage to bacon drippings; simmer over low heat, covered, until soft.

5Add mushrooms, soy sauce, garlic, seasonings and scallions (including the green tops).

6Simmer until vegetables are soft.

7Toss with spaghetti and crumbled bacon.

8Makes 8 servings.
