  • 1/2 loaf French bread
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    Mix sugars and cinnamon together; add eggs and soft margarine. Beat until creamy.

    Alternately add milk and bread to mixture and stir until bread is smooth.

    Then add chopped apples and raisins. Pour into a buttered 9 x 12-inch baking dish and bake, uncovered, for approximately 1 hour at 350°.
