Jello Poke Cake

- 1 white cake mix
- 1 small pkg. jello (any flavor)
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Directions

1Prepare cake batter as directed on package.

2Pour into well-greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.

4Cool cake in pan 15 minutes, then pierce with utility fork at 1/2-inch intervals.

5Meanwhile, dissolve jello in boiling water.

6Add cold water and carefully pour over cake.

7Chill 3 to 4 hours.

8Cover with Cool Whip and garnish with fruit, if desired.
