- 3 large eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- confectioners sugar
- jelly or jam
Directions

1Grease and flour a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan, or line pan with waxed paper.

2Beat eggs until thick. Gradually beat in sugar.

3Then beat in at once water and vanilla. Sift together and beat in all at once the flour, baking powder and salt.

4Beat just until smooth.

5Pour in prepared pan and bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes or just until the cake tests done.

6Turn immediately upside-down on towel that is sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Spread cake at once with jelly or jam, and roll up.

7Keep it wrapped until cool.
