- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 qt. tomatoes (canned)
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles
- 4 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In large skillet, brown meat.

2Add onion and remaining spices; cook until brown.

3Drain off grease.

4Add canned tomatoes; cook or simmer for 45 minutes.

5Drop noodles in boiling salted water; cook for 15 minutes.

6Rinse and drain.

7Place layer of noodles in large greased casserole dish.

8Top with layer of meat sauce.

9Top this with about 1/2 of each kind of cheese.

10Repeat layers.

11Put small amount of meat sauce on top for color.

12Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.

13Allow to set 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
