Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. venison meat
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 3 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2/3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2/3 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cut meat with grain in 1/2-inch strips.

    Mix other ingredients to make marinade.

    Submerge meat in marinade for 24 hours in refrigerator.

    Place meat strips on oven rack in oven and cook for 8 hours at 150°.

    Use foil to catch the drippings.

    Store in airtight containers.
