- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 2 medium onions
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- chopped ham (optional)
- salt to taste
Directions

1Soak beans overnight, changing water at least twice.

2Spray crock-pot with Pam.

3Chop onions.

4Mix all ingredients except beans in crock-pot and stir.

5Pour beans in pot and mix well. Slow cook 8 to 10 hours until beans are soft.

6Salt to taste.
