- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan; add brown sugar when melted.

2Do not cook.

3Stir in sugar well.

4Take off stove burner; add well beaten eggs, stirred in lightly.

5Then add flour, nuts and vanilla.

6Pour mixture in well-greased and floured pan.

7Bake at 350° for 18 minutes.

8Cut in squares.

9Makes 2 dozen.
