Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 or 7 oz.) pkg. regular corn chips
  • 1/4 c. minced dry onion
  • 1 (11 1/4 oz.) can chili beef soup
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef and minced onion in a 10-inch frypan on automatic top burner set at 400°.

    Add tomato and chili beef soup. Lower temperature to 325° and bring mixture to a simmer, stirring well.

    Blend in salt and chili powder.

    Line casserole dish with half the corn chips.

    Spoon in meat mixture.

    Top with remaining corn chips.

    Sprinkle cheese evenly over top.

    Bake at 350° until cheese is melted or about 25 minutes.
