  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • a few slices green pepper
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 cans each: tomatoes and kidney beans
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder to taste

Directions

    Brown hamburger with onions and pepper.

    Pour off any excess juice.

    Add celery, tomatoes and kidney beans.

    Cook slowly for 30 minutes or more.

    Simmer on low for 30 minutes longer.

    Then add chili powder.
