John'S Pepper Jelly

Ingredients
- 1 lb. (red) hot peppers
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 box Certo (both packages)
- 1 c. cider vinegar
Directions

1Wash and dry peppers.

2Cut in small pieces with seeds.

3Place in blender with vinegar and puree until it looks like foam and has the texture of oatmeal.

4Place in saucepan with sugar.

5Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes.

6Skim as desired.

7Stir to make sure all the sugar is melted.

8Pour in both packets of Certo. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes.

9Set aside to cool.

10Put in jelly jars and keep in a cool place.
