John'S Pumpkin Cake

- 12 oz. can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/2 to 1 c. butter
- 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients and stir until smooth.

2Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

3Sprinkle sifted cake mix over top. Slice butter over top of cake mix.

4Sprinkle nuts over all.

5Bake at 350° about 50 minutes.

6Serve with whipped cream or whipped topping.
