Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1 small jar pimentos
  • 1/2 to 1 can green peas, drained
  • 8 oz. egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 or 8 slices American cheese

Directions

    Saute onion and pepper in oil until tender.

    Drain and add the rest of ingredients, except cheese.

    Simmer until everything is hot.

    Add slices of American cheese on top and simmer until cheese is melted.
