  • 5 large Pippin type apples
  • 1 lb. sliced plums
  • 1 c. oats
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 lemon
  • 3/4 c. margarine

Directions

    Peel, core and dice apples.

    Mix sugar, flour, juice from lemon, cinnamon and 1/2 butter.

    Add apples and plums; mix gently. Pour into flat baking pan.

    Combine remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Spread over apple and plum mix.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

    Cool and cut crispies into squares.
