- 1 lb. dry coffee
- 2 1/2 lb. sugar
- 1 qt. 190 proof grain alcohol
- 2 oz. pure vanilla
Directions

1Boil coffee in 1 1/2 quarts water.

2Simmer 45 minutes; very slowly.

3Strain twice, should be about 1 1/2 cups of coffee extract.

4Boil sugar in 1 quart of water for 5 minutes, let cool. Add cool coffee extract to cool sugar syrup, then add in 1 quart of alcohol, stir.

5Add vanilla.

6Mix well.

7Should make about 3 quarts of Kahlua.
