Directions

   Bring water to a boil, add sugar and boil for 5 minutes.

   Stir in instant coffee, 1 spoonful at a time.

   Bring back to a boil.

   Remove from heat and allow to cool for several minutes.

   Stir in the vodka.

   Split the vanilla bean and put in a 1/2 gallon (1.9 ltr) jug.

   Pour in your mixture and let stand for 2 weeks.
