Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 eggs
  • dash of salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. cognac
  • 3 Tbsp. Kahlua
  • 1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
  • toasted slivered almonds

Directions

    Heat sugar in water until sugar dissolves; set aside.

    Mix eggs, salt and chocolate chips in blender.

    Add the sugar mixture slowly and blend until thick.

    Cool.

    Add cognac and Kahlua.

    Fold half of the cream into chocolate mixture.

    Chill several hours in small wine glasses.

    Top with remaining whipped cream and slivered almonds before serving.
