  • 1 (2 lb.) chuck steak
  • 1 c. canned kidney beans
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 lb. chorizo or linguica
  • 1 box frozen kale
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. cubed potatoes
  • 1/4 c. thin-sliced carrots
  • 1 c. shredded cabbage (optional)

Directions

    Bake steak until dry at 375° until well well done.

    (Bake steak in open roasting pan so that you can make your soup stock in the same pan.)
