Kari'S Caramel Squares

Directions

   Mix together German chocolate cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk.

   Press half of mix in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

   Melt caramels and 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk.

   Stir frequently.

   Pour over baked layer.

   Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

   Sprinkle reserved half of cake mix over the top.

   Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

   Cut in small squares as these are very rich.
