Ingredients
- 2 qt. whole wheat flour
- 1 qt. hi-gluten bread flour
- 1 c. oat bran
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 packets yeast
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 c. molasses
Directions

1By hand mix dry ingredients in large bowl.

2Dissolve oil, molasses in quart measure of hot water.

3Combine wet mixture to dry mixture.

4Add one additional cup hot water.

5When dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened, knead for 10 minutes.

6Cover with tea towel and let rise in oven with oven light on.

7Remove, knead thoroughly, divide into 5 loaves, knead and shape.

8Let rise (no towel).
-
9Bake for 40 minutes at 325° (shift around at 25 minutes).

10Turn out on wire racks, butter top using cloth.

11Cool, slice, butter and eat!
