  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar and cornstarch.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Beat well. Add sugar, salt, Karo syrup and vanilla.

    Then melt butter and mix well.

    Pour in unbaked crust.

    Bake at 350° for first 10 minutes, then at 250° until done or point of knife comes out clean.
