  • 1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans, drained
  • 6 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 heaping tsp. mustard
  • 3/4 c. catsup or barbecue sauce
  • 6 slices pineapple (optional)

Directions

    Fry bacon half done; remove from pan.

    Saute onion and pepper in bacon fat.

    Mix all ingredients except pineapple.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch dish at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Top with pineapple and bake for 30 minutes or more.
