- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 to 4 c. parched peanuts (depending on how nutty you feel)
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup and water.

2Boil until forms soft balls in cool water.

3Add peanuts, cook until turns amber color.

4Remove from heat and add baking soda; stir well.

5Pour into buttered pans.

6May use pecans instead of peanuts for a great pecan brittle!
