- 1 cup milk

- 1 onion
- 5/8 cup diced bacon cube-, heavily smoked ham
- 2/3 cup Appenzeller cheese
- 5/8 cup gruyere chesse
- 5/8 cup comte chesse
Directions

1In a large bowl, mix the flour, the whole eggs, the egg whites, and the milk to obtain an even dough. Add salt at the end.

2Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.

3Heat a large pot of water.

4Grate the dough with a cheese grater over the hot water.

5Let the dough cook in the water until the pieces float to the surface.

6Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the baking.

7In a frying pan, heat 30 grams of butter.

8Sautee the chopped onion in the butter for 5 minutes.

9Add the diced ham and mix.
