- 3 slices chopped bacon
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 lb. beef
- 2 chopped medium onions
- 2 chopped stalks celery
- 1/4 chopped green pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. tomato sauce or paste
- 2 c. whole tomatoes
- 2 c. red kidney beans
Directions

1Saute bacon, garlic and beef.

2Combine in pot the onions, celery, green pepper, mustard, chili powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, tomato sauce or paste and whole tomatoes.

3Add meat mixture.

4Cook and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Add the 2 cups of red kidney beans at the last hour.
