  • 1 pkg. (225 g) Kraft Dinner Macaroni and Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin seed
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1-1/2 cups (1/2 of 28 fl oz/796-mL can) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 tsp. dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. red chili powder or cayenne pepper

    Prepare Kraft Dinner as directed on package; set aside.

    Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.

    Add cumin seed; cook and stir 30 sec.

    Stir in onions and garlic; cook 5 min.

    or until tender, stirring frequently.

    Add tomatoes and seasonings; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally and mashing tomatoes with back of spoon.

    Add Kraft Dinner; mix lightly.
