- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 small can crushed pineapple (with juice)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Combine sugar, egg yolks and oil.

2Add flour, water, cinnamon, nutmeg and pineapple.

3Beat well by hand (not mixer).

4Add nuts and fold in beaten egg whites.

5Pour into ungreased tube pan.

6Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
