  • 225 grams Flour
  • 110 grams Castor sugar
  • 250 grams Soft butter
  • 225 grams Maizena

Directions

    Sift maizena and flour together

    Add castor sugar

    Rub butter into the dry ingredients and knead until a stiff dough its formed

    Press dough into a 20 x 29cm greased baking tray

    Mark the slices lightly and prick with a fork

    Bake at 150C for 50 minutes

    Once baked, drench the shortbread with castor sugar
  8. 8
    Cut the shortbread into squares

    Allow to cool and then enjoy
