- water to cover
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 2 Tbsp. whole mixed spices
Directions

1Put ham in Dutch oven or other kettle with a tight lid.

2Boil for 45 minutes.

3Then add other ingredients.

4Bring back to boil and boil 5 minutes.

5Allow to stand and steep several hours or overnight before serving.
