- 1 baked pastry shell, cooled
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk (sweetened condensed)
- 1/2 c. ReaLime lime juice from concentrate
- few drops green food coloring (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/3 c. sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium bowl, beat egg yolks; stir in Eagle Brand milk, ReaLime and food coloring.

3Turn into shell.

4In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.

5Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, not dry. Spread on top and seal.

6Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
