Ingredients

  • 1 envelope plain gelatin
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 tsp. grated lime skin
  • 1/2 c. Key lime juice or lime juice
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar, into 4 beaten stiff egg whites

Directions

    Heat to a boil the first 7 ingredients.

    Cool until thickened. When cool add very well beaten egg whites.

    Fill precooked pie shell. Top with whipped cream and chocolate sprills.
