- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 cup green lentil mungh daal
- 5 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 cloves
Directions

1Mix rice and green lentil and soak for at least half hour.

2Put them in pressure cooker with rest of ingredients , add 4 times water and set it on high heat .

3On 1 whistle , reduce the heat to med . low , keep for 10 min and then remove the cooker from stove.

4Wait for pressure release and then serve with clarified butter.

5Can also be cooked in microwave , cook for half hour on full heat setting and then cover the bowl and cook for 20 min on medium powerr settings
