- 2 to 3 lb. stew beef
- 4 to 6 carrots
- 2 small cans V-8 juice
- garlic powder to taste
- 1/4 c. Minute tapioca
- 2 to 3 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 can beef broth
- pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Peel and cut-up vegetables.

2Put in crock-pot.

3Add beef on top of vegetables and don't stir.

4Sprinkle tapioca and seasonings on top of meat.

5Pour beef broth and V-8 juice over all.

6Cook in crock-pot for 8 to 10 hours on low.

7Fifteen minutes before serving, stir stew to mix in tapioca, which will thicken the stew.
