  • 1 (No. 2) can red kidney beans
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. tomato soup

Directions

    Mix beans and tomatoes.

    Simmer.

    Put 1/4 tablespoon margarine, butter or lard in skillet.

    Add ground beef and onions. Cook until brown 10 minutes.

    Add water and cover.

    Add green pepper (cut fine) to beans and tomatoes.

    Add browned meat and onions.

    Simmer for half an hour.

    Add tomato soup and stir well.
