- 2 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 ring kielbasa
- 1 lb. sauerkraut
- 12 oz. or 35 oz. tomatoes, cut
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 3 to 4 drops Tabasco
- 12 oz. beer (flat)
Directions

1If fresh kielbasa is used, brown first whole.

2Fry bacon until crisp and crumble.

3Cook onions and garlic in bacon fat until soft. Put all ingredients in casserole or Dutch oven; kielbasa on bottom, then kraut, bacon, onions, tomatoes and beer.

4Cover.

5Bake at 300° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours in the oven.

6Low simmer on the stove-top.
