- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 slices bacon
- 12 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 12 cups chicken stock
- salt and pepper

1PREPARATION:.

2Rinse greens.

3Cut into strips.

4Boil in salted water for 6 minutes.

5Drain in colander.

6While greens are boiling, cook bacon, remove from skillet.

7Saute onions and garlic in bacon drippings until onion is lightly browned.

8Place greens, onion & garlic, crumbled bacon, pepper flakes and chicken stock in crock pot.

9Cook on high 4 hours or until greens are tender.
