- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) candiced tomatoes tomatoes
- 1 (10 ounce) can Rotel Tomatoes
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 13 cup picante sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 12 corn tortillas, torn into 1 inch strips
- 3 (13 ounce) cans chicken
- 34 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook onion and green pepper in margarine until tender.

2Remove from heat.

3Add tomatoes, soups, picante, and chili powder, mix well.

4Line bottom of shallow 3 quart casserole pan with 1/2 of tortillas strips.

5Top with 1/2 the chicken and 1/2 the vegetable mixture.

6Repeat layers.

7Sprinkle with cheese.

8Bake uncovered @ 350F for 35 minutes.
