- 3 qt. water
- 3 rounded Tbsp. chicken soup base
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1In 6-quart Dutch oven, bring water, 3 rounded tablespoonfuls chicken soup base, onion and bay leaf to a boil.

2Mix remaining ingredients and cut small pieces into boiling mixture.

3Boil for 15 minutes.

4Add 1 cup cream, 2 cups milk and 1/2 to 3/4 cup instant potatoes.

5Simmer until done.
