- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. clam juice
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp. grated onions
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp. grated cheese
- buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Melt shortening and mix with flour and juice.

2Cook and stir until smooth, then put in slightly beaten egg yolk for 2 minutes and cook slowly.

3Add seasoning and clams.

4Pour into baking dish. Top with crumbs and cheese.

5Bake 10 minutes at 400°.
