Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 2 lb. lean beef (sirloin or top round)
- 3 scallions, finely chopped
- 3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1/4 tsp. Accent
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Brown the sesame seed lightly over low heat; set aside.

2Slice the steak on the diagonal in very thin slices.

3Score each slice with an X.

4Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.

5Pour over steak slices.

6Let stand 30 minutes.

7Drain meat; reserve marinade.

8Broil steak slices as near source of heat as possible for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

9Turn and sprinkle with sesame seed. Broil 30 seconds longer.

10Serve with rice and reserved marinade. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
