- 1 lb. beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 tsp. sesame seed
- 1/4 c. green onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Slice beef against grain in 1/4-inch slices.

2In bowl, stir together the sugar, soy sauce, oil, sesame seed, green onions, garlic and black pepper.

3Add to meat.

4Toss to coat meat well. Cover and marinate 1 to 2 hours at room temperature or 4 or more hours in refrigerator.

5Place meat 1 inch apart on grill or broiler.

6Barbecue 1 minute on each side.

7Serve with rice.
