- 8 qt. cucumbers (either whole or sliced)
- 1 gal. water
- 1 pt. white vinegar
- 1 c. pickling salt
- 16 dill heads
- 16 garlic cloves
Directions

1Combine water, vinegar and salt in a large pot and bring to a boil.

2Put cucumbers, dill and garlic into hot jars.

3Pour boiling liquid in to fill jars almost to the top.

4Seal jars.

5Yields 8 quarts or 16 pints.
