  • 1 (15-oz.) can Bavarian kraut, drained
  • 1/4 c. diced celery
  • 1 medium jar sliced pimento, drained
  • 1/2 c. diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained (optional)
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Heat vinegar, oil and sugar until sugar dissolves. Pour over salad ingredients and toss until well coated. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
