- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. Old-fashioned Quaker oats
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Cream the shortening, sugars and eggs.

2Add sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

3Mix well.

4Add vanilla. Work in oats, Krispies and chocolate chips.

5Cook by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
