  • 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • Water as Needed
  • 2 Tsp Ghee
  • Salt to taste

Directions

    1. Mix flour, 1 tsp ghee and salt with just enough water to make a smooth dough (can add the ghee and salt only in step 3 also)

    2. Divide into four balls and roll into four flat discs

    For each disc:

    3. Brush both sides with ghee (and sprinkle with salt if you have not yet)

    4. Cut strips approx a thumbs witdth wide

    5. Roll a strip into a coil and keep rolling strips together to make one large disc again

    6. Carefully, flatten with your hands as to preserve the semi fused layers (~1/8 inch thick)

    7. Add ghee to a pan over medium heat and cook, flipping once, until both sides are golden brown
