  • 6 large cukes
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 qt. onions
  • 1 pt. vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Directions

    Cut very fine as for relish the cukes, peeled and with seeds removed.

    Add 1/4 cup of salt and let stand overnight.

    Drain in morning and add onions, chopped fine, vinegar, sugar, flour, turmeric, dry mustard, mustard and celery seed.

    Cook 1 hour and put in hot jars.
